With more than 1.500.000 cases of COVID-19 and almost 100.000 deaths around the world, this outbreak has impacted the Transport Telematics Events with many of them being postponed, on the bright side, most of them have not been canceled. These changes follow the recommendations and restrictions that are being applied in most countries around the globe. The WHO (World Health Organization) declared on March 11th the situation as a pandemic, and ever since then we are all doing an effort to prevent the spread of this virus.

In line with WHO and CDC, the TU-Automotive Detroit has been postponed until August 2020. The events and all the activities associated with it are rescheduled to the dates of August 18-20th. After a long discussion between the organizers and relevant actors in the segment, and following the recommendations of the relevant health institutions in Mexico, the exhibition planned for the 21-23rd of April have been postponed until August 18-20th. More information about the event.

The organizer of the event has taken the decisive decision to postpone the convention due to the developments in the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization opted to reschedule the event and all related activities to August 18-20th. More information about the event.
Insuretech Connect Asia

Suntec Convention Center, Singapore
ITC is the world’s largest insurtech event. As well as other events in the region, the convention originally planned for June 2-4th has been postponed. The event expected to have more than 8000 attendees during the event in summer, and still expect to reach the same numbers on the new dates. More information about the event.
SITL – Transport & Logistics Innovation Week

Paris Nord, France
The event was postponed just a few days before the original dates of March 17th. All the budges that were already distributed will remain valid for the new dates. It is still unknown if the event will need to postpone a second time due to the development of the COVID-19 in France. More information about the event.

Rome, Italy
Italy is one of the countries with the highest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. This situation took the organizer to decide that the event must be canceled without a new date. The organizer is waiting to see how the coronavirus evolves in the country before communicating the new dates.
